In Witness of Their Service . . .

Do we ever stop to wonder, “Who is it that keeps the church altar and sanctuary spotlessly clean, stacks the hymnals, or sweeps the floors and dusts the windowsills?” Since 1987 a special group of ladies have been responsible for cleaning God’s house on Creedmoor Avenue. Once their number was around ten women; the number is now down to two faithful souls. They meet every Friday at 10 A.M. to prepare the altar and the sanctuary for Sunday Masses. Without a doubt, more hands are needed to minister to the Lord in this way.

For this service to the church, the parish wishes to thank the members of the Church’s Ministery of Service. These are the unseen, unsung heroes of the Church of the Resurrection, who help to make our church a worthy place of worship.
