The most important people in any parish are the young people. The parish looks to them for the continuation of service to God's Church and his people, begun by and selflessly carried on by the elders of the parish. A few years ago a Children's Choir was formed and directed by Jim Skiff, a parishioner in the parish who was interested in giving the children a voice in the church's liturgy. Members of the parish loved to hear the children sing on special Sundays and holydays of the year. With the coming of our new director of music ministry, Resurrection is in the process of continuing what Jim began. At present there are four members in the Junior Musical Ministry division of the parish's music ministry. They are provided with the opportunity to express their faith using the mediums of music as singers, bell ringers and instrumentalists. We are looking forward to having many more children join the junior choir and become a vital part of the church's liturgical services.

The parish wishes to thank the four children who give of their time and talent in service to the Church of the Resurrection. Also, we wish to thank their parents who have encouraged them in this ministry, support them in their efforts, and drive them to rehearsals and services.
