Month: May 2009Theme:
Parish Vision
Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. Parishes are where we proclaim
and celebrate the Gospel, where the seeds of our faith take root and grow, and where we are formed and receive God’s
grace to renew the earth; all members of the parish are responsible for its success or failure. The parish is the body of
our Church; stewardship is its soul. Stewardship brings the parish to life and gives it vitality. Therefore, our vision should
be to give our parish a living, breathing body, ready to be of service to others. This is the mission Jesus left to us. Scripture
Readings: 1 Corinthians 2:6-10, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2
Meditation: Am I an enthusiastic
supporter of the parish and its future?
Action:
Think about and share with us in a note, your ideas of what you want Resurrection parish to do in the future. Place your note
in the basket over the weekend.
