The spiritual life of the parish animates its mission. Personal and communal prayer are essential to building up the Body
of Jesus Christ, and our worship as a community gives expression to our prayerfulness. In the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist
and in other sacramental and liturgical rites, we gather to manifest our faith as a community. It is through the liturgy that
we are enabled to express in our lives the mystery of Christ and the true nature of the Church. To this end, the Worship Committee
meets as needed to plan worship experiences that involve all members of the assembly. Special attention is given to the contributions
made to the liturgy by the altar servers, the lectors, the cantors, the choirs, the ushers and even the environment of the
church, decorating it according to feast and season.
For the services
they perform, the parish wishes to thank the members of the Worship Committee for using their God-given gifts to create liturgies
that enable the assembly to participate in song and prayer to the fullest.
