We want to cover our church with prayer as part of
our
year long observance of our 100th Anniversary,
asking you to choose a day when you will pray for the parish.
It was great faith and love that built Resurrection and
for 100 years our families have been spiritually nourished,
growing strong in the Catholic faith, giving numerous men
and women to the service of the Church as priests and religious,
educating thousands of children and
serving the
poor of our community through works of charity.
Resurrection is a beacon of hope and faith
to Brookline and the
Church of Pittsburgh.
If we are to continue to be a light
of faith in our community for the
next 100 years we need to renew our own hearts and rekindle the fire ofthe Holy Spirit
that built our parish.
You are invited to pray in a special
way for the spiritual renewal of the
Church of the Resurrection.
